John Smith Memorial Run

The John Smith Memorial Run is back for its 38th year, making this the oldest race in Windsor/Essex County. This year the run will take place on Sunday, August 13th at 9am. The start and finish is located at Dieppe Gardens, along the Windsor Riverfront trail.

Start times - 5km/10km -- 9am

Course - it starts at Dieppe Gardens. It is run along the riverfront trails. The course is a 2.5km loop, making the 10km run a 2 loop course. Very spectator friendly. There will be a firetruck at the start/finish for the kids to check out before/after.

Prizes - Gold, silver, and bronze medal to top 3 runners in each event. First place runner in each event recieves an addidtional prize.

Register by Friday, July 21st to guarentee a t-shirt. All runners receive a medal. Race bibs and t-shirts can be picked up the morning of the event. The registration table will be open at 7:45am. Food and beverages will be provided for all participants. We hope to see you all out there for another fun event!!
