QUICK FACTS FOR ARGONIA 5K
WHAT: The “Heart Awareness” run is a way for the whole family to honor, remember and support those loved ones dealing with heart disease. The event is open to both runners and walkers and is a 5K (3.1 miles). (This race will NOT be officially timed.)
WHEN: Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. Registrations begin at 7:30 a.m.
WHY: We are running in the memory of Phil Fisher. He was taken from this life far too soon due to an unforeseen heart condition. We want to honor Phil by contributing our funds to The American Heart Association this year.
WHERE: The run/walk will begin and end at the Argonia High School (504 North Pine).
REGISTRATION: Mail registration to Keri Dickerson prior to May 9th to guarantee your chosen T-shirt size.
Registrations received after May 9th or on race day are not guaranteed a T-shirt!!!!

Race Route
The race will be ran through the small town of Argonia. There will be a short distance that will be ran on a gravel road. We will serve water at the half-way point and once you have finished the 5K there will be water and refreshments.
