Summer Fun Run and Walk Program is open to everyone. Walkers welcome!
Run for fun and gain strength, lose weight, or make your heart healthy. If you are currently not a runner, that's ok. This eight week session will help get you in shape while having fun.
Orientation/ first run is Wednesday June 7th 6pm at Ala Moana Beach Park. Meet near lifeguard tower 1E and the restrooms. Plenty of parking available at the Magic Island parking lot. Sessions continue on Saturday mornings at 8 am and Wednesday evenings at 6 pm.
Shoes, apparel, running form, drills, nutrition, stretching, recovery, injury prevention, and cross training will be taught - however, our main focus will be FUN.
This is a social group and we will stop to enjoy the views whenever we feel like it. Afterwards, we might even grab a bite or have a drink together. We will show that a healthy lifestyle can be a fun one.
