Helping Kids Fight Cancer – One Trip At A Time

Compass to Care, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, ensures children, whose parents have a financial need, can access life-saving cancer treatment.  We carry out this mission by scheduling and paying for travel arrangements to the hospital where a child is being treated for cancer.

The Compass to Care 5K will support these cancer journeys and give all children the very best chance of a cure. 

Why Kids Need Us

We all have fond childhood memories: going to school, playing sports, riding our bikes, dancing, swimming, snuggling with our parents, and playing with friends. The 43 children who are diagnosed with cancer every day are no dierent. Yet in addition to playing, laughing, and learning, they also start making frequent trips to medical centers for their cancer treatment. The journeys are long and the days are diicult when a child is fighting cancer.

These life-saving trips can translate into extremely high costs for families, who simply want their children to be healthy again. However, for many parents, these trips become a cost they cannot afford. 

When you say YES to supporting our mission, we extend travel assistance to children, who are in cancer treatment, and whose parents demonstrate a financial need. You impact their lives. 

Kids We Help

Compass to Care welcomes the request from families who have child under the age of 18, who has been diagnosed with cancer, and who is in an active treatment regimen. The families must also demonstrate a financial need.
