We are a group of Gunn high school students who work with an organization called Free The Children. This international organization has empowered more than 2.3 million youth to be agents of change to children in developing countries. Partnering with Free The Children, we have raised over 45,000 dollars in 5 years through fundraising events such as youth benefit concerts and bake sales. The money we have fundraised has built 4 schools in the Makeni Community in Sierra Leone, Africa, an area in which many schools have been destroyed due to their civil war. Proceeds from this run will go to directly toward building another school in Sierra Leone.
Rain or shine, no refunds. No t-shirt pick-up after race day. Parking will be available at Cubberly Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto. Then follow the signs to the start at Mitchell Park.

Race Location and Parking
This year’s race will be starting and finishing at Mitchell Park. Parking is available at Cubberley Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Because of the Chili Cook-off there will be limited parking at Mitchell Park.
