Road Crew (GWC02)

Number of volunteers required: 15 to 20

Time required: 1.5 to 2.0 hours

Details: Volunteers needed to direct the runners and walkers at specific check points. Volunteers will be stationed at barricades, possibly in company of a police officer (Ontario Provincial Police).

Photographer (GWC03)

Number of volunteers required: 7 to 8

Time required: 1 to 2 hours

Details: Different photographer positions available. Images to capture include:

  • On route
  • Start/finish line
  • Team photos
  • Speeches and award winners
  • Distant photos of runners and entire event grounds from R.H.Coats and Jean Talon buildings.

Set-up and Clean-up Crew (GWC04)

Number of volunteers required: 2

Time required: 1 to 2 hours

Details: Volunteers needed to help set up tents, tables and chairs and change full recycling and garbage bags. Take down tents and stack chairs and tables after event.

Details: Volunteers needed to help guide the participants along the walk and run route. Everyone will be assigned to a specific post.
