Adult (14+) 5,000m swim
i) Start in water at buoy number 1 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
ii) Swim 50 meters heading north to buoy number 2 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
iii) Swim 450m heading west buoy number 3 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
iv) Swim 50m heading south buoy number 4 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
v) Swim 450m heading east buoy number 1 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s right).
vi) To be completed five (5) times.
vii) On the final lap turn on the outside of the buoy (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s right) and proceed to the finish line on the beach.
Adult - 3,000m Event Info
Adult (13+) 3,000m swim
i) Start in water at buoy number 1 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
ii) Swim 50 meters heading north to buoy number 2 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
iii) Swim 450m heading west buoy number 3 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
iv) Swim 50m heading south buoy number 4 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
v) Swim 450m heading east buoy number 1 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s right).
vi) To be completed three (3) times.
vii) On the final lap turn on the outside of the buoy (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s right) and proceed to the finish line on the beach.
Adult/Junior - 1,000m Event Info
Adult (13+) & Juniors (12&U) 1,000m swim
i) Start in water at buoy number 1 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
ii) Swim 50 meters heading north to buoy number 2 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
iii) Swim 450m heading west buoy number 3 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
iv) Swim 50m heading south buoy number 4 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s left).
v) Swim 450m heading east buoy number 1 (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s right).
vi) To be completed once (1).
vii) On the final lap turn on the outside of the finishing buoy (the buoy must be to the swimmer’s right) and proceed to the finish line on the beach.
