Please read any waiver carefully. It includes a release of liability and waiver of legal rights and deprives you of the ability to sue certain parties. Do not agree to this document unless you have read and understood it in its entirety. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood the text presented to you as part of the registration process. You also understand and agree that events carry certain inherent dangers and risks which may or may not be readily foreseeable, including without limitation personal injury, property damage or death. Your ability to participate in the event(s) is/are subject to your agreement to the waiver and by agreeing herein, you accept and agree to the terms of the waiver and release agreement.

Isaac Dickson Elementary School PTO has a NO REFUND policy. However, we do offer  partial discount codes for cancellations during our cancellation periods. If the  event is NOT sold out, a discount code for 50% of your race registration fee will  be offered until 5 days prior to the race date. If the event IS sold out, a discount  code for 100% of your race registration fee will be offered until 5 days prior to  the race date. Discount codes can be used to register for next year's event and will be valid for 12 months after the event date.

By indicating your acceptance to PARTICIPANT, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:

In consideration of the foregoing, I for myself, my executors, administrators and assignees, do hereby release and discharge the IDES-PTO, Kick It Ventures LLC, event organizers, event volunteers, sponsors and supporters for all claims and damages, demands, actions and whatever in any manner arising out of my participation in the Asheville Hot Chocolate 10K, 1K Kids Hill Climb & Marshmallow Dash. I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of risk involved in this event and I and/or the people I am registering for, am physically fit and trained to participate in this event.

I also agree that I will not transfer race materials (including, but not limited to, bibs and timing chips) to another participant or run in their place without signing a waiver and officially notifying the race organization. Agreement to substitution requests lies solely with the race organizers.
