Our story…
Thank you for visiting the Braxtyn the Brave team page! As many of you know we lost our precious Braxtyn in December of last year. Braxtyn put up the strongest fight against his disease, CGD, while in the care of many doctors, nurses, social workers, etc. at Children's Hospital. If it were not for many of these perfect strangers (many of whom became like family to my sister and Braxtyn) we would have not been able to spend the time that we did with B.
For this reason, myself and Kate Venturi, will be running the Jazz Half in honor of Braxtyn the Brave! It is our hope to raise money for CHNOLA to continue to provide and support for other families in their time of need as they did for ours.
