Our new event home at Dairy Creek Event Center & El Chorro Park has even more private access trails plus we've added a kids race and 5k to get all your friends and family in on the dirty fun! All race participants receive a wood medal, a race shirt, ample course aid-medical-directional support and a first class festival finish line! The free Dirt Festival features live music, cold beer and hot BBQ plus vendors and festivities all day. Bring your lawn chair, sun hat and stay awhile:) Here is the event schedule:
Wednesday, August 29 thru Friday, August 31 the public is welcome at the same venue for The US Trail Running Conference for Industry Professionals & Trail Runners. Separate registration ticket required at www.ustrailrunningconference.com
Friday Aug 31st 12:00pm to 5:00pm: Trail Runner Clinic with Ian Torrence, Emily Harrison Torrence and Krissy Moehl. Separate ticket required for Pro Runner and Coaching Clinic.
12:30pm to 6:00pm Packet Pick Up and Late Registration (for races not sold out- check home page and Facebook for last minute updates) at the Dairy Creek Event Center

5:45am to 9:00am - Packet Pick Up and Late Registration
5:30am to 6:00am - 50k Drop Bags Checked In. Must be labeled by you with bib#.
6:30am - 50k Trail Race Start
8:30am - Half Marathon Trail Race Start
9:00am - 5K Trail Race Start
9am to 5:00pm - Festival Open & BBQ
10:00am - Kids Race on golf course path
10am to 2pm - Live Music on stage "Cuesta Ridge Mountain Men"
12:00pm - Award Ceremony on stage

Race Rules
There are NO REFUNDS and all races take place rain or shine.
All course routes subject to change & race distances are estimates.
All cars are required to pay the $5 car parking fee.
Dogs ONLY allowed on leash in the festival. No dogs on the course. No exceptions.
No Smoking allowed.
Camping only allowed inside El Chorro Park & Reservations at SLO County Parks Department required.
All race distances will require that every person carry THEIR OWN cup, bottle or hydration pack for the entire race. We will be checking at each race start that you have this on you. We are working hard to create minimal waste and leave no trace.
