Backcountry aid station

You will be handing out water and cheering on runners during the last two legs of the race on trails around Nakiska. You will meet at Nakiska at 2:30 p.m. and will be taken to your location. Finish time is between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., depending on your location. 

Medical 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

We need medical personnel (EMT, EMR or paramedic) to stand by at station 2, 3 or 4 (one person per station).

Medical 10:00 - 3:00

We need medical personnel to stand by at station 5, 6 or 7 (one person per station). EMR, EMT or paramedic. 

Medical 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

We need medical personnel (EMT, EMR or paramedic) to stand by at station 8 or 9 (one person per station).

Medical on bicycle 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

We need qualified medical people (EMR, EMT, paramedic) to monitor the final two legs of the race which are on trail near Nakiska and Kananaskis Village. This shift is from approximately 3:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Post Race 2:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Post race volunteers help with beer ticket sales, information booth, beer garden and food running. 

Station Crew, stations 2, 3 or 4: 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Station crew volunteers help with checking in runners, handing out water, managing the mile out board, timing, radio from mile out to station and traffic management. The exact start/finish time depends on station location but will fall within the time frame listed. 

Station Crew, stations 5, 6 or 7 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Station Crew, stations 8, 9, 10 or finish: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Supply truck

This is an all day job driving/helping in one of our four supply trucks. Two 5 tonne trucks that deliver and pick up station equipment and two panel vans that deliver and pick up signs along the road.
