Parking is very limited in the community and volunteers helping with this role will direct athletes and spectators to available parking from 7:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m.
As athletes cross the finish line you will be handing out water and cheers of victory. You will also help with taking down the finish line at the end of the race. This job is from 9:30 a.m. until about 11:30 a.m.
Within the enclosed beer garden, you will help with beer ticket sales and perimeter security. This job is from 10:00 a.m. until about noon.
You will be helping on the awards stage with gathering athletes and handing out prizes from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
You will be assisting the bouncy castle people with the kids area from 9:30 a.m. until about noon.
You will be helping with tearing down all of the equipment at the venue and putting it away. Beginning at noon and finishing about 2:00 p.m.
You will be helping to set up the transistion area and finish line area from 4:30 p.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m.
You will be helping to set up venue requirements such as tents, banners, fencing, swim start. This job begins at 7:00 a.m. and will be finished at 8:30 a.m.
We require kayakers on the water for swim safety from 8:30 a.m. until the last swimmer is out of the water at approximately 9:45 a.m. Swim safety qualifications are very welcome but not required.
You will be marshaling a point on the run and/or bike course to make sure the athletes go the right way and, in some cases, also monitoring residential traffic. Marshals need to be in place between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. (depending on location) and will be in place for up to two hours.
You will be assisting athletes through the transition zone as they move from swim to bike and again from bike to run. This job goes from 8:00 a.m. until transition tear down is complete at approximately noon.
You will be handing out water, Gatorade, sponges, words of encouragement to athletes on the run course. Volunteers need to be in place at 9:15 a.m. and will be finished at about 11:30 a.m..
