The Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off is a community builder initiative that brings together the professional dance community, community leaders, the business community and many talented volunteers to build awareness and raise funds for the great works happening in our community. It's about Red Deer coming together to Share the Magic!
Proceeds from the Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off will go towards building the 2019 Canada Winter Games Celebration Plaza in downtown Red Deer.
From February 15 until March 3, 2019, Red Deer will host the 2019 Canada Winter Games - the largest multi-sport and cultural event for youth in the nation. As a non-profit organization, the opportunity to partner with the Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off will assist the Games in their mission to deliver a life-shaping Games experience. An important component of hosting the 2019 Canada Winter Games is the sustainable legacies that the greater community will benefit from. One of the physical legacies of the 2019 Games is the Canada Games Celebration Plaza, a celebration space in downtown Red Deer where cultural events and activities, inclusive play, community events and celebrations can be hosted beyond the timeline of the Games for generations to share in the magic of community.
