Our story…

Here we are once again doing what we love. We are supporting Camp Ooch and all their efforts in providing a safe and happy environment for kids who are suffering from cancer. We as well were challenged as parents when our daughter Mateja was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at 5 months old. Never in a million years did we think that this could happen to a precious little baby, let alone out precious baby. We spend 4 long months living on the 8th floor of Sick Kids where Mateja received the help she needed. It was not without complications, more tears, pokes and surgeries but in the end Mateja will be celebrating her 6th year of remission. Our baby girl has grown into a beautiful, strong and happy little girl. We are hoping that everyone can donate even a little bit to make every child have a chance at being just a kid, especially those having to battle cancer.

Help send kids affected by childhood cancer to Camp Ooch!

Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) provides children with and affected by childhood cancer with what they need most – the chance to be kids. Ooch is the only overnight camp in Canada to offer on-site IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions.  Often referred to as the social cure for cancer, we offer programs year-round in Muskoka, at SickKids, and various other cancer centres and cities across Ontario. 

As a registered charity that receives no government funding, Ooch relies exclusively on the generous support of fundraisers, individuals and corporate donors, like you.

Ooch changes the lives of over 1,500 kids affected by childhood cancer every year.  However, 79% of kids with cancer in Ontario still can't go to Camp.  You can help change that!

Cancer changes a child's life.  So does Camp.  And so can you.
