Race Results 2017
We are so thankful for the over 440 runners/walkers who came out to participate in the 2017 9th Annual Grant A Starr Family Fun Run!
At last year's race, in a moment of silence, we remembered Grant Starr, his family, and the children who have passed, or are currently struggling with a viral illness. A great fun run team, enthusiastic runners and walkers, community support, and generous sponsors made it a very successful event! At the post event ceremony, we gave $20K each to Texas Children's Hospital and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital!

The Grant-A-Starr Foundation
The Grant-A-Starr Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving children’s lives through the advancement of rapid detection of life-threatening childhood infections such as encephalitis and meningitis. Grant Starr was a seven year old boy who passed away from an unidentified viral infection in August 2005. The Foundation gives 100% of the money it raises and collaborates with Texas Children's Hospital and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital to fund research projects which allow physicians to accurately diagnose and treat viral infections. Proceeds from the Annual Family Fun Run have contributed to the $1.2 million that the Foundation has raised so far. Truly great things can be done if we all work together!!!
Registration Required
Everyone MUST be officially registered with a GASFFR race number visible on front.
Please make note of our new race location at Brazos River Park, just next to the Sugar Land water tower.
