Raise money for YWCA Muskoka
Think Big Look Back Start Small is a social action group for rural youth aged 14 to 29 that encourages young people to use their voice and become leaders in their community while celebrating local arts and culture. Organized by YWCA Muskoka, Think Big give youth a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about what they see as issues for rural youth, organize community action days, and learn about female trailblazers.
Rural youth face increased risk of homelessness and social isolation.
In Muskoka, youth represent the highest number of those on waitlist for affordable housing and in a recent survey of 206 Muskoka youth top of mind was whether they’d be able to afford post-secondary education and get a job or career and their anxiety about the future.
