Saturday March 31st at 11:00 am at Kirkwood, there will be a flat, all grass Five K race. In addition, each participant, simply by finishing the race, is automatically entered in a Penalty Kick contest. The University of Delaware Men’s keeper will be in the contest with the boys and the UD Women’s will be with the girls. The overall male and female winner will get a trophy!
The Kirkwood Soccer Club exists to promote the development of youth in our community through participation in athletic competition.
Our goal is to provide activities that offer recreational, social and physical development for children of all skill levels. We are committed to providing participants with the opportunity to develop athletically and personally in a positive, supportive, and safe environment. The Kirkwood Soccer Club encourages and promotes ethical and moral behavior, good sportsmanship, community involvement and good citizenship.
Our philosophy involves implementing age-appropriate training curriculum at all levels to ensure the best development of our young players. The focus is on the development of our players. We aim to provide a standardized and structured support plan to our players, coaches and parents.
KSC brings experienced and professional caring coaches and staff to teach and develop soccer players from the fun, through the passion , to the demands of the game. We strive to be successful, and are committed to youth development, teaching life lessons, and community building, to help develop great kids who are great soccer players.

Entry fee- $20 pre-registration (until the Thursday before the race at Noon) / $25 after and day of event
Students: $15 pre -registration (until the Thursday before the race at Noon) / $20 after and day of event
10 am- Registration opens
11 am- Race start
