2nd Annual Shubie Classic 5k Fun Run

The second annual Shubie Classic 5K takes place on April 14th, 2018 and is the perfect race to start the season! We would love for you to join us on this incredibly scenic route. For only $35.00 you can take part in this 5K chip timed event with coffee and delicious treats after the race. Everyone gets a participation finishers medal! We hope to see you there!

Our Goal:
To promote fitness, health, and participation as part of a healthy and active lifestyle in our community. We're excited to work with local sponsors to help make the event unique, and to support local businesses right in our community.

  • Unable to make it to the Shubie Classic 5k Fun Run at Shubie Park? Join in on the fun and run from wherever you are. Run a 5km route of your choice, take a photo of you running and do one of the following. 1) Post your photo on Facebook and tag @shubieclassic. 2) Send your photo via email to info@shubieclassic.com. We'll send you a Shubie Medal and a letter of completion in the mail! When taking part in this option feel free to complete your 5k anytime within the month of April to qualify to receive your medal in the mail.

Race Route

The race route is a beautiful and scenic 5k run that starts at 54 Locks Rd, Dartmouth, NS. Runners head through the park, across the canal over a bridge, and through the nature of Shubie Park on a safe gravel trail. The route is an out and back. Runners head 2.5km and then turn around and head back to the finish line.
