Approximately 36 million American adults report some degree of hearing loss. The students and faculty in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at West Virginia University are constantly doing their part to raise awareness of hearing loss to the public and how it may be prevented through a variety of community service activities year-round.
The annual MountainEAR 5K is our biggest activity. It is hosted by the Student Academy of Audiology at West Virginia University. Proceeds will benefit the Hugh Lindsay Hearing Aid Fund for patients that are unable to afford hearing aids, as well as contribute to other clinic needs.
This year is our 7th annual MountainEAR 5K! We appreciate your continued support!
