Charity Partners

A portion of the profits from the 5K are donated each year to local charities. This year's 5K will support Habitat for Humanity through the St Norbert Youth Ministry for students in grades 9-12.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization that builds simple, decent, affordable, houses for people in need through the assistance of volunteers.  Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 100,000 houses in more than 80 countries, including some 30,000 houses across the United States.

St Norbert Youth Ministry high school students volunteer for one week twice each summer to support this great organization. The Habitat team has Foremen who instruct student volunteers. Funds donated from the St. Norbert Block Party 5K Fun Run/Walk will support student scholarships to participate in a service trips and portions of each stipend directly supports Habitat for Humanity.
