My Story…
As many of you know I was diagnosed with Hemiplegic Migraines several years ago. Hemiplegic Migraine is a very rare form of migraine with aura for which there is no cure. It is an extremely debilitating form of Migraine often described as the equivalent of having mini strokes, over and over again on an almost daily basis. It can be a very excruciating and frightening experience.
So, that being said, I am going to do my best to participate in the Miles for Migraine - 2 mile walk, 5K/10K run on April 14th at Diversey Harbor in Chicago. I am asking friends and family to support me in this quest to find a cure for this debilitating disease by either coming out and supporting me or, if possible, donating to this very worthy cause. 100% of the profits go to research in the Chicagoland area.
