Join Edmonton Trail Runners and Calgary Trail Runners for a triple-summit day of Lady MacDonald, East End of Rundle (EEOR), and Ha Ling. The spring mountain run is designed for every athlete, from experienced mountain runners challenging personal bests to first-timers chasing new adventures.
1. Baby Quad: For experienced mountain runners only, this option tackles all three summits in a continuously linked run. Water drops will be available between summits. You must be able to run for 6-10 consecutive hours in mountainous terrain and be experienced at running self-supported with proper fuel.
2. Triple Crown: Challenge yourself to three summits in one day, with transportation between mountains to lower overall running distance and lighten packs. For those new to mountain running or early in your training season, start with the first summit and take it one summit at a time. Participants can choose to do one, two, or all three summits.
3. Edmonton Trail Kids: Children and youth will experience the excitement of a single summit day, guided by experienced trail runners who will carry snacks and drinks for a summit picnic break and epic-but-safe selfies. Any child under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
