Online registration has now closed. But you can still participate! Should you wish to sign up, please arrive early the day of the event to allow ample time to get registered.
A professionally timed, family friendly event suitable for all ages and skill levels, the event supports two awesome local organizations, the Ontario Speed Skating Oval and local non-profit, Friends Peterborough.
Once again, this year's race will kick off at twilight at 8 pm at the Lakefield Marina (1 Water St, Lakefield). Recreational participants are invited to start at 7:45 pm.
Participants will enjoy a flat & scenic course, winding along the beautiful village of Lakefield's riverside trails with flickering candles at the start/finish area.
- Get signed up by Friday April 27th to get a free t-shirt
- The first 100 participants will receive a free event loot bag
Participants are encouraged to stay after completion of the race to enjoy a free bowl of chili before the awards are presented at 9 pm.
