My Story…
Last year I was the official photographer for the event, but this year Im getting on a bike! 10 minutes of powering as hard as I can (while dressed in a slightly ridiculous costume!) Im riding for Lighthouse on Saturday 13th October at the Power of 10 Fundraiser.
For almost 20 years Lighthouse has supported children, teens and their families after the death of a parent or a sibling in the family. In 2017 over 350 children and their families attended groups at Lighthouse.
This event will ensure Lighthouse services remain 100% free for any family in Halton, Peel & beyond.

Power of 10 gives cyclists the chance to donate to Lighthouse and build the Tree of Hope with leaves of support and butterflies of gentle help.
The blue butterfly is internationally recognised as the emblem to represent Children's Grief Awareness Day, on November 15th 2018.
Raising $500 will enable me to dedicate a Butterfly to the memory of someone who has been an important and special part of my life.
