MISSION CRIT 5
What started as a race in a parking lot for friends has become an event known around the world.
The first Mission Crit in 2014 saw 24 racers compete for beer and bragging rights in a parking lot next to the San Francisco Bay.
In 2015, Mission Crit won approval of the City Of San Francisco to shut down streets and reroute buses to throw a track bike criterium.
In 2016, Mission Crit improved the race course, expanded the field, and doubled its audience from the previous year. Thereby establishing itself as a must-attend date on the track bike criterium circuit.
Last year, by no chance of luck, Mission Crit exploded into the mainstream, attracting top talent from across the globe.
2018 will bring the most exciting bike race the West Coast has ever seen.
