HORNER HUSTLE
Mike Horner lived in Edison Park with his wife, Heather Dunne and their daughter, Mary Helen. When Mike was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in December 2015, his family and friends were blindsided. How could someone so healthy be so sick? Mike lost his battle with pancreatic cancer shortly after Mary Helen’s first birthday, 9 months after his diagnosis, and minutes before his 46th birthday. Please join the Horner, Dunne, Balducci, and Pietryla families as they partner with Project Purple to host the first 5K Horner Hustle Fun Run/Walk in Park Ridge, IL, raising funds for early detection and, ultimately, a cure for pancreatic cancer.
