Jovi Mitchell is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia Major at 3 months. He currently receives blood transfusions every two weeks and was accepted at Bambino Gesu Hospital in Rome, Italy to have a Haploidentical Bone Marrow Transplant done. This is the only cure. The cost of this procedure is approximately US$200,000. Your participation in our 5km run will help him to meet this live saving goal.
The race will start and finish at the Farouk Ghany Recreational Ground in Gran Couva and participants can enjoy the lush scenery and cool breezes of the countryside as they run, walk and ride through this tranquil village in an effort to save Jovi's life.

between 10am & 7pm
- Van Sertima 5k venue in Chaguanas on Sunday July 29th, 2018 between 4pm and 5:30 pm.
