TIME 8:30 a.m. 800m Turkey Fun Run (kids under 12) sponsored by MedExpress

We will have two heats for the Kids 800m run. Kids under 5 will run in the first heat. Kids 5 and older will run in the second heat.

         9:00 a.m. 5k Run/Walk

COURSE The course will begin at the WVU track and continue down the hill toward Star City. Runners turn right at Sheetz, and then take an immediate left toward the Mon River trail. The course then enters onto the trail and ends at Morgantown Running/Seneca Center. 

TRANSPORTATION A shuttle bus will be available at the Seneca Center (finish line) for anyone needing a ride back to the WVU track.

PARKING Please park at the WVU Track or Morgantown Running. 

REGISTRATION / PACKET PICK-UP Registration and packet pick-up for the Turkey Trot will be at MORGANTOWN RUNNING on Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 4-6 p.m. DAY OF registration and packet pick-up IS possible on Thursday morning 7:00-8:30 a.m. @ the WVU Indoor track/Shell building.

TIMING Parks Timing

PRIZES 5k Run: Top 3 male and top 3 female finishers. 5k Walk: The top male and female will receive a a prize! *All winners must be present.  We will post race results in appropriate age categories.

SOCKS Every runner/ walker will receive a pair of Thanksgiving-themed socks!

**DONATION-Giving to those in need: Canned food and feminine hygiene products can be dropped off at the store the day before or the day of the race for The Shack Youth Programs pantry and for high risk middle school girls!**
