A 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to
 “Opening eyes and minds through natural science discovery." 
At the heart of our value system is providing experiences in nature that 
engage the senses, foster discovery, ignite learning, and inspire action.

Our Summer Camps:
Quarry Hill Nature Center welcomes over 2100 campers each summer for week long, natural–science themed, day camps. Camps, offered for ages 4 through 9^th grade, include opportunities for kids to experience nature under the guidance of trained naturalists and teachers.

Turning over rocks, hiking through the quarry, learning to canoe and rock climb, kids sample a variety of outdoor experiences. A week at Quarry Hill Nature Camp fosters a child’s natural curiosity and plants the seeds for a lifetime of discovery and learning in the natural world.

Running into the wild – why it matters:

Firmly rooted in the belief that connecting kids to nature and that access to camps and nature programs should not be limited by financial need, we launched the first Run Wild & Wild Child Dash in 2016. 

Thanks to our sponsors and runners, we met our goal and are currently providing scholarships for summer campers to attend our natural science day camps. Join us in supporting the Friends of Quarry Hill Scholarship fund.
