22nd Annual Harriers Thetis Lake 20K Cross Country Relay
Event #2 of 4 Harriers Thetis Lake Cross Country Race Series

2:18 Run, in conjunction with Victoria's Prairie Inn Harriers Running Club, is pleased to host the Harriers Thetis Lake 20K Cross Country Relay. This popular trail relay is a good tune up for the Harriers Bob Reid Magical Mile on November 17, 2018 and the Harriers Gunner Shaw 10K Cross Country Classic on November 24, 2018. Schools, clubs, recreation centres, running clinics, competitive and recreational runners, and walkers of all paces are welcome to join the fun at Thetis Lake Park.

Event Information


Sunday, November 11, 2018.  The race starts at 1:00 pm.


Thetis Lake Park, Main Beach, Victoria, BC, at the end of Six Mile Road off the Old Island Highway.


4 runners/walkers per team.  Each runner or walker will complete one 5K lap.

Age categories are determined by your youngest runner on the team.


All Mixed categories must have a minimum of 2 women.


All Family teams must have a minimum of 2 family members.


Registrations will be accepted online or by mail to midnight November 9.  Entries can be made in person on November 10 at 2:18 Run Store from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm or at the Start/Finish line on the main beach on November 11 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.


$40 Early - August 1 to September 30, 2018

$60 Late - October 1 to November 10, 2018

$75 Race Day - November 11, 2018

Sunday, November 11, 2018  11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Main Beach, Thetis Lake Park


New this year, physiotherapy and massage will be available to all participants in the main tent following the race.  Services are provided by the experienced and knowledgeable staff from Saanich Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic.


Awards and draw prizes will be available at the Finish Line at 3:00 pm.  Rosettes and ribbons will be presented to the top 3 teams in all 18 divisions.


The first 150 teams (600 runners) will be accepted for this race. No exceptions.  Day-of-Race entries will only be accepted should the entry limit not be reached.  Please register early to avoid the disappointment of a sell-out.


All race proceeds will be directed to Harriers Foundation projects. To date the Prairie Inn Harriers Running Club has raised over $ 350,000.00 towards Foundation projects in Greater Victoria including eight major scholarships and bursaries at the University of Victoria and at Camosun College.
