Riders For A Cause (Local Riders, Cancer Fighters) and the Black Tie Tour were formed out of a desire to help local families impacted by cancer. Founded by friends with a desire to make an impact in honor and in memory of loved ones fighting cancer, Riders for a Cause is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
The Black Tie Tour is dedicated to cancer fighters and their families! 2019 Primary proceeds will benefit The Capital Health Center for Oncology at Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell. Additionally, we screen local cancer patients to help assist with medical costs involving their treatments.
Our efforts for 2018 raised approximately $100,000. Of this over $45,000 went to Capital Health Center for Oncology, supporting cancer research $45,000.00 went go to helping local individuals and their families.

The Black Tie Tour is a premier cycling event in Central New Jersey being held on June 23, 2019 at the Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell Campus. Featuring 10, 25 and The New 50-mile scenic routes, & began and ended at the Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell Campus. This ride is planned to be a unique, upscale event offering accoutrements that are atypical of other local cycling events. We like to describe it as a "gala" on wheels.
"We hope you will join us in 2019 as a rider, volunteer, and/or sponsor as we aim to "Uplift Hopes Using Our Spokes". Our 2018 Ambassador is Joey Povio & our ride will also be honoring the memory of Gail Ciccone & Antonio Nini. It still holds true what our 2016 Ambassador, Antonio Nini, used to say: "We ride for hope. We ride for cancer patients and their families."
