Having helped co-found the Pink Ribbon Girls in 2001, I immediately said “yes” when asked to lead the training of this group without batting an eye. What sets PRG apart from others is they provide direct services to those with breast cancer and gynecological cancers with no restrictions on age, income or stage of cancer. Transportation to treatment, house cleaning, and healthy meals means SO much for women going through treatment when you can barely take care of yourself.
