Jewish Family Services provides essential services to help people lead healthy, secure and productive lives.
Guided by the wisdom and values of our Jewish tradition, JFS’ vision is to transform the lives of individuals and families through quality services and innovative programming that respond to our community’s most pressing needs: food security, housing, mental health and support for seniors.
Our values are: compassion, dignity, dialogue, respect, diversity, collaboration, accountability.
For the first time, seniors outnumber children in Canada. Many of our beloved elders who have given so much during their lives have to put off medical treatments and other necessary expenses in order to feed themselves.
When you run and fundraise for Jewish Family Services, you are helping Jewish seniors in Metro Vancouver receive healthy food and emergency financial aid. The donations you collect will help them lift them out of poverty in their final years.
