My Story…
I am raising funds for WAVAW-Rape Crisis Centre because I truly believe in the work that this organization does to support survivors of sexualized violence.
•WAVAW offers specialized, gender-affirming support services to all trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit survivors of sexualized violence.
•WAVAW supports sex workers.
•WAVAW offers immediate crisis support through the 24-hour crisis and information line and hospital accompaniments.
•WAVAW supports survivors that wish to report their assaults with accompaniments to police visits and court dates.
•WAVAW supports Indigenous survivors through culturally-informed, Elder supported one-to-one and group counselling.
• WAVAW offers free-of-charge one-to-one and group counselling.
This incredible work is essential, and I want WAVAW to be able to continue to do the work of shifting society so that maybe one day we can end gendered oppression and sexualized violence. Join me in supporting survivors/ shifting society!

With over 35 years of experience, we are British Columbia’s largest rape crisis centre, operating on unceded Coast Salish Territories. Survivors of sexualized violence are at the centre of everything we do. No matter where you are coming from, we are here for you.
