Help Alexandra raise money

Hello, My name is Alexandra Amini and I am 12 years old. I will be participating in the Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon & 5K. This will be the first time I have ever joined a marathon. I was introduced to the Scotiabank Marathon by my friend's mom, Ms. Holly Fong. Ms. Holly works as a speech pathologist. One night she became visibly sad when she talked about the fact that her dept had few resources to buy iPads for speech-language patients to communicate. That night, I told my mom that I wanted to support Ms. Holly and my friend, Sophie, in raising money to help the Speech Pathology dept at Mount Saint Joseph's. On a personal note, I understand the invaluable importance of speech-language services because I, too, needed the services of a speech therapist when I was very young. My speech therapist helped tremendously and I will never forget what speech-language services have done for me. Thank you for your support!
