Help Joelle raise money

Joelle says that she does not know what to say and has emphatically said that I write it. So basically I would say this for her... Since being diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis in 2014 at the age of 4 Joelle has been "stronger than she seemed, braver than she believed..." (Paraphrased from Christopher Robin) Things she has learned; MRI's are a great opportunity for 30 minutes of alone time. That blood work and needles hurt but she can endure them and be OK afterwards. The BC Children's Rhumatology department is a treasured gift. Professional counselors can help with all the anxiety that goes along with her disease. (They also help her mom...) That individual education plans are a gift from the school system. And that educational assistants and her teachers are there for her when she is unable to cope well at school because of fatigue or being overwhelmed. She has learned that community is there for her and that she is loved by all who are involved in her life.
