My Story…
Help me finish off my 8th season as a singer with Elektra Women's Choir by donating! Elektra is so much more than just an amazing group of women who create music together-- here are some of my favourites initiatives that you are helping to support through your donations:
1. Youth Scholarship - Elektra financially supports a young person to enhance & grow in the music field. This money is used by the scholarship recipient for travel to music programs, tuition, & other music activities!
2. Reading Sessions of New Compositions - Elektra gives composers the opportunity to hear their new works sung by a choir, complete with feedback from the choir as well as our expert choral director and accompanist. This program can help composers break into the field of choral composition or hone their craft!
3. Choral Leadership Workshop for Young Women - Annually, Elektra gathers hundreds of young singers to share in leadership skills, music, singing, and community.
