The Purdue Challenge 5K Run/Walk is a race that begins and ends In Ross-Ade Stadium on Purdue University’s campus in Tippecanoe County. The Challenge incorporates the community, staff, students, and student-athletes of Purdue University. ALL of the money raised goes to support cancer research at the Purdue Center for Cancer Research. Any donations received will go to the Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment and this year all donations will be matched dollar for dollar by the Walther Cancer Foundation.
We have passionate sponsors that help offset the costs so that participants’ registration fees and donations go directly to help find a cure for cancer right here at Purdue. The race is in its 12th year and has have raised, in total, over $835,000 for cancer research at Purdue University. This is thanks to the dedication of our sponsors, participants, and of course the very talented researchers we have on staff at the Purdue Center for Cancer Research.
