Help Heather raise money

After complaining of pain in her side for a couple of days on August 31st I decided to take Evelyn in to the Alberta Children’s Hospital for what we thought was at worse appendicitis. Unfortunately in the coming hours we were informed that Evelyn did not have appendicitis but instead an ultrasound had shown a large mass in her abdomen. And thus began our journey with cancer. After several more scans/tests we were told Evelyn has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma metastatic to bone marrow. Since that day Evelyn has had one very large surgery, six rounds of chemotherapy and two rounds of high dose chemotherapy with subsequent stem cell transplants. I’m June she will begin radiation - the third phase of her treatment. And after that she will undergo six rounds of immunotherapy. We are so grateful for The Starlight Foundation and all they do to raise Evelyn’s spirits and show care for our whole family. We look forward to seeing you on race day in support this amazing event & charity.
