My Story…
I'm new to running but I'm not new to loving rescues!
A few years ago my parents rescued a Siberian Husky. He was an actual homeless dog that was abandoned, tied to a pole for days in Toronto's Greektown. He is now living happily and surrounded by love.
My husband and I have a beautiful German Shepherd, Molly that we adopted from Toronto Animal Services. She was dumped off there by her former owner who left her locked in a crate. We love her with all of our hearts. She would join me, but she'd rather run the 5k in 5 minutes.
I am running for them and for every other rescue animal out there.
