My Story…
I've walked Jodi's Race in honor of my friend, Darby, since 2014. She introduced me to my husband, Steve. Darby died of ovarian cancer in 2008 after being diagnosed as stage four following a long series of medical tests for digestive disorders. Ovarian cancer was not on the radar of her health care team until it was too late. I walk in her honor with the hope that by raising awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer, lives will be saved and families will remain whole.
