My Story…
Description
I'm participating in the Run for Mercy 5K & Family Walk on May 11 in Langley, BC on behalf of Mercy Canada, a non-profit Christian organization.
Mercy Canada offers a holistic, free-of-charge residential program that helps young women ages 19-30 across Canada who struggle with life-controlling issues, such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, physical and sexual abuse, depression, unplanned pregnancies, sex trafficking, and more.
The Run for Mercy raises necessary awareness and funds to provide a safe place for young women to heal—spirit, soul, and body. All funds raised will benefit the young women in the program, which includes 24/7 residential care, individual and group counselling, nutritional education, biblical teaching, fitness training, educational preparation, transitional planning, and aftercare.
Please help me reach my goal to benefit this great cause. Together we can help transform a young woman's life!
