Melanie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend that gave tirelessly to her community, even during her ten year battle with cancer. During her last days with us, hospice provided exceptional care and as much comfort as possible. Knowing that she was being cared for allowed our family and friends to just be with her. To hold her hand, to talk and to focus on just being present. Hospice provided a great deal of comfort to us all. While Melanie wasn't in the Chatham hospice, Chatham was her hometown.
