Delaware Youth Center River Race

The 21st Annual Delaware Youth Center 5K/10K River Run and Walk - July 21, 2019

Join us on Sunday, July 21st for the annual River Race.  A flat, scenic, very fast course alongside the beautiful Delaware River - Great for an accurate personal record!  Register for the 5K run or walk; or for a greater challenge, try the 10K distance!  Registration opens at 6:45am and the race begins at 8:30am. Register early!  Can't attend this year but still want to join in the fun?  Register for the Gary A. Winglovitz Virtual Run!  All proceeds benefit the Delaware Youth Center.

New this year!  In addition to the virtual run, we have also added a Fun Run for children 6 and under (weather permitting).  No pre-registration required!  Register on race day and let your little ones experience the joy of racing.  Race begins at 9:30.  Quarter mile course on the Delaware Youth Center exercise trail around the softball field.  All Fun Run participants receive a medal!

Gary A. Winglovitz Virtual Run Closed

Can't attend this year's race but still want to support the Delaware Youth Center? Join the Gary A. Winglovitz Virtual Race! Choose your distance, choose your course, even choose when you run! You can race on a pre-measured course, or using an app such as "Map my run" or "Strava," or even on a treadmill! Once you complete your race, email your results and distance to 5K@delawareyouthcenter.org, and upload a post-race picture to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using #Gary'sVirtualRun and #DYCVirtualRun. Register by July 1st to ensure your race t-shirt and bib arrive in time! Thanks for your support!
