Our volunteers are the most critical part to making our race a success. The Race Day Volunteers generally have a great time at the race and are appreciated by all of the runners participating in the race. We couldn’t do it without you! Take a look at some of the positions described below and let us know what you can help us out with – no training required!
Course Marshals
This is our most critical need. The course marshals are located at various points along the race route to ensure the race participants stay on course and may be required to direct vehicle traffic.
Race Venue Set Up and Clean Up
Perform the setup and cleanup of the race venue with tables, chairs and support equipment. Ensure that refreshments and snacks are well stocked for the race participants after completing a successful run !
Aid / Water Stations (4 Aid Stations)
Provide Water and / or Gatorade to the race participants as they pass each aid station along the race course. Manage the race materiel cleanup.
Finish Line
Provide Water to the race participants, hand out finishing medals and / or perform timing functions for the race finish.
Course Set Up and Take Down
Deploy the race signage, markers and caution notices along the race course in advance of the event. Pick up the race signage, markers and caution notices at the completion of the event.
Aid Station Set Up and Take Down
Deploy and Pick up the Aid Station materiel (Tables, Water Jugs, Gatorade Jugs, Cups, Garbage Cans etc.) at each of the four Aid Stations.
Race Participant Registration
Manage the Race Participant package pickup by confirming registration on the website and providing the assigned Race Bib and Shirt to the participant
