How Race Results Work
- Preliminary results will be posted on screens immediately after the race.
- Look for official race results posted online the day after the race here.
- Overall race medals will be awarded based on gun time. This means your race time is measured from the time the gun goes off until you cross the finish line, regardless of how far back in the pack you start.
- Age group awards will be based on chip time, meaning your race time is measured from the time you actually cross the start line - regardless of how far back in the pack you started - until you cross the finish line.
- If you’re an elite runner competing for an overall award, you should try to start the race as close to the front as possible.
- If you’re not an elite runner competing for an overall award, it doesn’t matter where in the pack you start.
- If you have post-race questions about your results please reach out to Lowell Starr at By using the button on the results page.
How to Wear Your Race Bib
- Please place your bib on the front center chest area. Your bib must be on your outermost layer of clothing and easily visible. Race belts are also a great way to run with your bib.
- Chip timed races are fun and easy to run — you just need to make sure your race bib is in the correct place to ensure your run is correctly timed. This allows the antennas and all of our backup timers to see your number. If you have any questions, please find a team member at registration. If your race bib is on your child, dog, stroller, shoe, leg, back, or hidden under three layers of clothing, you'll want to adjust it!
