April 26, 2010 began like any other work day, but unbeknownst to me, it was the end of life as I knew it, as I entered the world of Chronic Migraine. At 28 yr old, I had a great job as a Physician Assistant; I was married to the love of my life; had wonderful family & friends.That "unwanted guest" that arrived on that day has still yet to dissipate & despite traveling to numerous headache centers around the country & trying countless therapies, my migraine has remained unchanged.My life as I knew it was gone & I had to adapt to a new way of life.I never imagined that going grocery shopping or taking a shower would prove to be difficult.As the years went by without any lasting change, I had to learn how to navigate through my new "normal".
