TEN years ago a small group of women thought it would be a good idea to get together weekly, ride their DH bikes and drink beer.

TEN years ago this small group blossomed into a club, partnered with SORCA and created an empowering community of women who would ride, learn and tackle new trails together through weekly rides, skills clinics and events. It started with the Gravity Girlz who shuttled and rode the DH trails on Diamond Head.  Then a group called the Chicks N Chains brought the XC ladies out.  Today, girlsBIKEsquamish supports an all inclusive women's riding group with volunteer certified mountain bike instructors to promote fun, new skills and networking experiences for all riding abilities on our amazing trails.

Over the past TEN years, many volunteers and local bike shops have supported our group, hundreds of women have experienced our rides, many have developed long lasting friendships and recruited many more women into our sport.

This year we are celebrating TEN years of what we do best…uniting a community of women to connect, learn, and ride together on our beautiful Squamish trails.
