California Family Fitness Scoop Scoot 2019
Family friendly community event to raise funds for local nonprofits while enjoying Vic's Ice Cream

Online registration is now closed BUT you can still register! Please download, print, and complete this form and bring to Fleet Feet Sacramento on Thursday or the event on Friday.

Join your friends and neighbors to raise funds for local nonprofits while enjoying beautiful William Land Park and delicious Vic’s Ice Cream. Designed to be a fun community event that raises money for great local nonprofits, this event is for the entire family!

Participants will start in William Land Park and scoot (walk, jog, run) 1.5 miles to Vic’s Ice Cream. At Vic’s, enjoy a scoop of mint chocolate chip, chocolate chip cookie dough, or strawberry ice cream topped with Ginger Elizabeth's chocolate fudge sauce and/or fleur de sel caramel sauce before scooting back to the park. Back in the park, enjoy a warm Sacramento summer eve with music, friends, and a courtesy craft beer garden for those 21 and older.

Thanks to California Family Fitness and other wonderful sponsors, registration is just $5

Additional donations are encouraged to benefit these great nonprofits:

More FAQ's available on the event FAQ page.

Why is the Scoop Scoot just $5?

Thanks to sponsors, the costs of the event (park permit, safety cones, bathrooms, police officers, insurance, ice cream, DJ, beer, etc) are covered. Additional donations are encouraged and will go directly to the nonprofit of your choice.

What is included with registration?

Each participant will receive their chosen scoop of Vic’s ice cream in a commemorative plastic cup. Participants will also receive a bib similar to running events. For those 21 and older, there will be a courtesy beer garden at the finish.

Who has to register?

Each person that would like a scoop of ice cream at Vic’s MUST register. This is the only way to secure your bib which will be your ticket to a scoop of ice cream.

How many scoops of ice cream are available?

Ice cream capacity is limited to 1,500 scoops. You can still join the fun and make a donation after we reach ice cream capacity, you just won’t be able to enjoy a scoop of delicious Vic’s Ice Cream.

Where can I pick up my bib (and shirt, if purchased)?

Bibs/shirts can be picked up Thursday, July 11th at Fleet Feet Sacramento (2311 J St. Sacramento) from 10 AM – 7 PM OR Friday, July 12th starting at 5:30 PM in the start/finish area in William Land Park.
