Our story…
My family and I organized our team, Lou's Legacy, in memory of our mom, Louise (Lou) Chmura, who passed away from her 2nd battle with breast cancer on 7/16/12.
We have participated every year since her passing and have proudly been the top fund raising team each year. Our team alone has raised a total of over $40k for this event to date. This is our way to give back to the center where our mom had her treatments and show our gratitude & appreciation for what the staff does on a daily basis. We hope our efforts play a small part in the care, comfort and treatment of any current & future patient that need to visit The Center for Cancer Care.
